Can't connect to servers

Hi

I have an Instinct Crossover, running v17.01, Express Windows V7.24.0.0 and computer is Windows 11 23H2.

Since a few months already, with older versions of the firmware and Express too, I can't connect to the servers anymore to synchronise. Today I thought to try and start a VPN-connection to the USA and then the connection was setup, and I could synch my Instinct and GPSMap 66 as well.

Questions: is there an issue with the traffic to the servers from the Netherlands? Does it connect to a regioanl (European) server and things go wrong there?
