I have an old Garmin GPS 10. It still works, receives GPS data, and is picked up on my Android via Bluetooth. I tested the connection using OpenCPN, a nautical mapping app with a strong signal. So my question is does any of your current software apps like Garmin Explore or Earthmate work? Or is there a way to download the old software?
I realize I am shooting in the dark here with a 15-year GOS receiver but worth a shot, I hate to throw it away as it still works I just need maps.
