"there was an error installing the update" while updating Drive 51

Hi,

when I try to update maps through Garmin Express on my Drive 51LMT-S with lifetime map updates, there is always appearing "there was an error installing the update" and update is interrupted.

Garmin Express version is 7.24.0.0 running on Windows 10 22H2.

Storage on device 84% full

mSD card 16GB 100% free

What were the results of what SUSSAMB suggested earlier?

I already tried to uninstole Garmin Express and reinstall it, to remove and add device, to start GE as Admin - no results, the error stays same. BTW, other Garmin device updates perfect on the same computer and Garmin Express installation.

One last thing to try as some Windows installations seem to struggle with mtp devices, try setting your DS51 to mass storage mode. Failing that see if the cloning method mentioned here works
