corrupt files on Garmin Etrex22 GPS

I attempted to upload updated fil to my Garmin Etrex22 SD card and wile the files were uploading (3+ hours) the computer went into "Sleep mode." and now when the SD card is installed in the GPS it will not boot up. If I remove the SD card it will eventually boot but it seems to take a long time. My question is can I reinstall the firmware and map to correct the corrupt file?

If it boots and works normally without the SD card then try reformatting the card.

I removed the microSD card, and it still won't boot. I guess I need to send it to Garmin for repair.

Call them first for help and advice. Have you tried a master reset?
