The following text was copied from a previous post which was not answered, but exactly describes what I am facing:
"My Garmin GPSMAP296 wont update to the most current Navigation Database and Terrain.
When I try to update, the unit goes dim and "Loader" is faintly shown on the dim screen. I can simply say the unit goes off.
When connect it is well identified with the correct ID.
On the Garmin Database manager, I am Getting the following error: Core library error occurred in file 'IOU_UsbLinkImpl.cpp' at line '827' with code '0' with message ''.
Please assist me with this problem"
