Enduro 3 - Cannot Unlock Maps

I got my enduro 3 today and i plugged it into the computer with Garmin express app. now I'm getting this error when unplug the watch and when i try to navigate. it also wont auto create a route or navigate at all. Can someone help?

i reset the device and i reinstalled the maps too!

i was able to figure it out. i set the connection mode to garmin, deleted the maps files from the garmin folder. then i reloaded all the maps using garmin express.
