Garmin Express doesn't show any software or map update

My Nuvi 50 has software version 2.10 only (the latest version is 4.00?) and the asian map is also outdated. Updating using Garmin Express doesn't show any update. How to update the software and the map?

That is a pretty old unit. I think it dates from about 2011. The circumstances at Australian Garmin nuvii 50 are specific to Australia, but they may also apply to Asia.
