GarminDevice.xml file for DriveSmart 7LMT

When opening the Garmin file on my computer, the xml file is not there. What is showing is an icon with GarminDevice.xml with the Microsoft Edge icon above it

I did all that and still didn't help. I have given up and just ordered a new one. Thank you for the advice.
