There as an error syncing with Garmin Connect

I have been using my Edge 800 since new and have not had any issues. Suddenly I am getting the above error message. GE says that i am up to date with Updates, but suddenly in the last two activities won't sync

I am on a PC using GE as the Edge is only Ant+ and won't sync with phone (no Bluetooth0, so am on a USB

  • I've been having the same issues on my Epix Pro Gen 2 for more than a month.  

    I've taken the normal steps or uninstalling/reinstalling Garmin Express and removing the Acitivty, Newfiles, and RemoteSW from the watch.

    Nothing seems to work. 

    I can still update from the phone via Bluetooth, so they've broken something with Garmin Edge, in my opinion.

    Can the Edge 800 connect to WiFi? 

    How do you have a phone without Bluetooth?

  • Sorry, not described clearly enough.

    My phone does have bluetooth, but the Edge 800 doesn't.

    PS I have moved to a new computer and now all connections are good (new installation of Garmin Express?) Now having issues with VivoACTIVE HR

    I am a bit of an "old" techie, don't see the need to upgrade to gain incremental advantages.

    Will continue to try to sync watch (it is Bluetooth compatible)  with phone. I can then i guess see uploads to Connect
