Mp3 files not transferring to watch

I'm trying to move about 80 mp3 files from my laptop to my Fenix 7 through Garmin express, it says they all transferred successfully and all show up when I check music installed on Fenix 7 on Garmin express.

But after disconnecting my watch, I only have 4 mp3s on there, when i connect the watch back up to Garmin express it says I only have 4 songs on the watch.

To test, I removed all music from the watch and then tried to put it all back on, and what I got was the same 4 mp3s, however I cant find anything they have in common that the rest don't have..

I have also tried directly transferring mp3s without Garmin express, makes no difference.

I don't know what else to do, I would much appreciate any help, thanks.

Only 4 of 80 songs? Probably, there is ore than one bug. Here is another: Garmin Express still doesn't support all characters in the file name. For example, if the file name contains an umlaut like "ä", "ö" or "ü", Garmin Express will skip these titles. I tried this with a short playlist. It would be a little bit arkward, but seems to me, that Garmin Express still doesn't support unicode. :)

None of the songs that didn't work contain anything odd like that, I can't find any differences in the mp3 names from those that worked and those that did not..

If the mp3 files don't contain any relevant ID3 tags, they will not show up in those categories on the watch.
If you cannot find out how to add those tags to the mp3 files, you can try to create a playlist of the transferred files on the watch. It should then show up in the playlist section.

I have found something the working mp3s have in common.

when I go to properties > details, on one of the four mp3s that actually transferred to my Garmin, I am able to edit pretty much everything in details.
including artist, album, year, Genre.

The rest of the mp3s that won't transfer, I am unable to edit any of it.

Indicating most of my mp3s are locked to some degree, with something...

I'm so close to figuring this out!
