approach g6 not connecting to garmin express

After I updated Garmin Express to v7.22.1.0 I cannot connecte my Approach G6 anymore. Whats going on? Is Approach G6 not supported anymore?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have already followed the procedures but still no luck. I have three other Garmin devices including a Garmin s62 golf watch at Garmin Express detected the, without problems. It’s only the approach g6 that has the problem. I am beginning to wonder if this is a known problem.

Try resetting the watch. Also try removing it from Express then re-add it.

Yes I have tried all that already and was about to give when I remembered I had an old MacBook that had Garmin Express installed. I fired it up and refused the offer to upgrade Garmin Express, lo and behold, it recognised my Approach G6 immediately and I was able to install golf courses updates.
so I still stand by my original suspicion that Garmin Express doesn’t support older Approach handhelds anymore. Come on Garmin, I’m not throwing away a good gadget yet.
