Garmin Express map manager empty after updating my Edge 1040 Solar to the newest firmware.

The Garmin Express (7.22.1.0) map manager is blank after I updated my Edge 1040 Solar to the latest firmware 21.18. Same error on Windows PC and Mac. What is the solution?

after firmware updates, Express deleted all my maps. When I try to install European maps is giving a "Map changes failed" message. How to get back my maps ?
