Connecting a quatix 7 to windows pc

What do I need to connect my new quatix 7 to my PC. I don't want stuff put out in the cloud. I just want to connect to my PC. Can it be done.

It would be good if you could describe in more detail what you want to do with the watch.
You are very limited in its use if you don't use Connect. Even software updates usually require a data connection.

This thing is new to me. I am still figuring out what it can. I was reading some stuff about connecting with the PC it was talking about logging in etc. I would like to connect off line if possible. I don't know what my options are and what I could do by staying offline. Can I see my data? Can I change the settings? I have map of Europe that I will never need. Can I delete that?

I went for a bike ride today. Can I download the route and other data.
