I've had this watch for a while without too many issues, and have always synced via USB to either my PC or, in most cases, my laptop. Both version 7.22.1.0.
I realise most people use a smartphone these days but the phone I have is too old for the Connect app so using that is not an option.
Sync on Thursday (4th July) without issue. Yesterday (5th) I got the red sync error message on Express. This was on my laptop so I tried my PC and it worked. Tried again this morning (Saturday 7th) and got the sync error on both machines.
I tried restarting the PC, the watch, then factory resetting the watch (annoying as I had to reset up all my preferences), as well as updating Express on both machines. I managed to upload today's run manually (drag and drop from the watch folder to Connect) but am missing all the health data, steps etc. I'd rather not lose my steps as I have a very long streak going.
Both machines can see the watch, which appears green in Express, but I keep getting the sync error.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
