Nuvi 1240 with lifetime map updates.

I have just tried updating the Europe map in my Nuvi 1240 using Garmin Express. It says my device is up to date, but the map is 2024.10. I read elsewhere that the latest full Europe map is 2025.10. Can anyone confirm this please?

Your nuvi uses the EU NT map, the 2025.10 is the EU NTU map

Thanks, I'll have to contact Garmin to find out why I can't update the map.

Because the latest NT map is the one you have.

Ah, thanks, I hadn't spotted the 'U' on the end. Do you know if Garmin still supports the nuvi 1240? Their support website didn't recognize the model or the serial number when I entered them.

The recent thread at City Navigator Europe NT states "From Garmin, FYI

"The July 2024 release will be the last update available for customers with City Navigator Europe NT maps. They will still be available for you to reinstall."
