I reported this issue in 2022, but the thread was locked, so I started a new thread in 2023 to keep this issue alive because the problem remained.
I have just updated GE to 7.22.1.0, but the problem still exists, so I am creating this thread to keep it alive.
It works as follows now:
- Start GE.
- Click a device (in my case, Forerunner 301).
- GE prompts for Email and Password every time. It did not do this before.
- Enter the correct email and password.
- GE prompts for Email and Password again.
- Enter the correct email and password.
- the loop of above 5-6 will last forever.
To break this dead loop, one needs to click the red cross at the top right corner, then select the device again and GE no longer asks for the email and password. However, restarting GE will enter the above loop.
