error adding vessel

Trying to add Echomap Plus 40 to my Express account. keep getting Error adding your vessel message.

Any Ideas

Did you follow the instructions at Echo map plus Owners Manual. Specifically I note in one of the early sentences reading “NOTE: You should use the ActiveCaptain^® app and a mobile device to register the device (Getting Started with the ActiveCaptain App).”
