Hi everyone,
And here we go, another program I try from Garmin and another problem... ALL THE TIME.
So I decided I wanted another try at updating my Forerunner 255, after trying 2 months ago and bootlooping...
I install Garmin Express 7.20, it detects my device, it works, quite surprised.
My goal being only to update the firmware, I start wondering why it asks me to connect to my account... It says it is to upload my data... But wait guys, I only want to update the firmware, nothing else, and certainly not uploading my data. But well, I have no choice if I wanna update, so I login.
Now it shows my device, and tells me that the firmware is up to date... !!!!! The watch runs v16.19, shows (on the watch) that v17.26 is available, but still Garmin Express says it is up to date... ! Ridiculous, as usual. Feel free to read my other posts about Garmin features.
And still, the last firmware available is NOT v17.26 but v18.22.
So the watch does NOT get it right, Garmin Express does NOT get it right !
