Hello all, I put a Kenwood Garmin Excelon DNX893S nav system in my Outlander a few years back and I kept getting the "map outdated from 2016" message when I turned it on. So, I finally updated the firmware thinking then I could update the maps here in 2024 and make that error message go away. The firmware was a breeze with a SD card, easy instructions, it's now on version 3.1 which is up to date per the website. The problem is, the garmin express software is showing no available map update whatsoever, just the original 2016 maps it came installed with... INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING... does anyone know how to access the latest map update for my unit before they stopped producing them? There must have been an update in 2020 or later? Why are they not available on garmin express? Or any other website I've searched for, it's so frustrating! All I can find is the original map file, Please help!
