Garmin Express - There was an error installing the update - Honda CR-V

OS: Windows 10 Pro - 22H2 ; Express version: 7.19.0.0; Honda Serial Number ID is 1017403416 ; It is Honda CR-V; USB: VERBATIM 16GB Store n Go V3 USB 3.0 Flash

I have tried on two different laptops and tried everything from forums.Tried different USBs.

What I did found in Garmin Express Logs is that there is ok communication with garmin servers (lots of 200 OKs) and then this line

" 2024-02-02 23:43:04.0551 | 25 | W | OperationQueue[] - Exception in operation Garmin.Omt.Service.Operation.Map.UpdateMapOperation.

Are there any help for this case, some vodoo

When did you purchase the CR-V? Quoting from Garmin’s website (see below) it appears as though the free updates are only for five years on some models.

“Honda vehicles with Garmin Navigation come with either 3 (2021 Honda North America vehicles and newer) or 5 years (all other model years and regions) of map updates at no cost. These map updates are available roughly once per calendar year.”

Honda CR-V is from 2018 (Europe). I understand 5 years but still I have option in Garmin Express of installing maps not to purchase map, and then the error shows in log ( which I have posted already)

I would check the purchase date of the vehicle to see if it is over 5-years old.

Well Garmin Express based on GarminDevice.xml which is created by the vehicle should figure out will it let download the map or you need first to purchase the map and download it (as it is documented in Garmin manuals). So I don't know how will my deduction help in automated map update process.
