I connect the Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Solar via USB to a PC (have tried it on 2 different ones) and then it is recognized, disconnects again, connects again, disconnects again, connects again, disconnects again and then stays that way...
Taken so far:
-I have removed all USB devices from the PC
-reinstalled Garmin Express
-reinstalled the Garmin Triber manually
-Restarted the watch
-selected the USB mode MTP for media transfer
-Restarted the PC several times
-Cleaned the contacts
-Tried a different cable (have 2 Garmin watches in the household)
Result so far:
Every now and then it connects, then I don't touch the watch or the cable.
Can then download the maps which are more than 20GB in size to max. 50%,
but then the connection between PC and watch always disconnects.
System:
I use Windows 11 on both PCs and have all drivers up to date.
I have no problems with any other device.
I have even deactivated the firewall.
It would be very nice if someone knows a solution.
I don't seem to be the only one with this problem.
