Express shows my 1030 as connected with a green button but dashboard does not open

When I run Garmin Express it shows that my Edge 1030+ is connected. However, when I click on the device the dashboard does not open to allow me to manage the maps etc. It works fine with my Edge 1040.  Any suggestions on a fix?
