Honda Jazz 2016 map update

I have just bought a 2016 EX Navi Honda Jazz

I followed the instructions for finding out if there was a map update. Garmin initially refused to see my 16gb usb stick with the information on until I installed the Garmin usb drivers. It found the car information and told me what map update was available. I have bought the map update, but it refses to install on the USB stick saying the SD CARD or USB flash drive doesn't have enough space to hold the map update. It says it needs at least 9GB yet there is 14.9GB of free space on it.

How do I get round this?

I fixed it by using another 16gb memory stick. Formatted it and got the id information for the nav system again. This time the usb stick was showing a Garmin file on it, but the other usb , following exactly the same method didn’t. The maps are currently installing as I wrote this

Sounds like a faulty stick then, glad you resolved it
