Update failed when I update Garmin Express

When I update Garmin Express on Windows 11 from version 7.16.3.0 to 7.18.4.0, a window pops up, "Install Failed, Garmin Express could not be installed on this computer. Try installing again". I tried many times already and keep getting the same message. How do I fixed this?

GE requires a functioning .NET framework. You can read about methods to possibly repair it at Repair the .NET frameworkwork. Note that in the discussion is a link to download the repair tool, which I would do and then run. After running the repair tool, reboot your PC and then retest GE.

I downloaded the link but that didn't resolved the problem.

The Garmin Express works but it won't update and I'm afraid to uninstall it fearing that it won't reinstall.
