Garmin Express - Edge 500 Software Update 34.00 repeats

Hi,

My Garmin Express continues to indicate Time Map Zone version 34.00 is available every time i connect my Edge 500.

I click the Install button and it indicates the firmware is successfully installed on the Edge 500, but display version 33.00. I must go through the "install" process every time I connect to sync my device with Garmin Connect.. I feel like I'm in a twisted version of Garmin Groundhog Day. ;-P

I understand my Edge 500 is no longer supported, but it still works great.

How do I:

1. Install version 34.00?

2. get Garmin Express to stop looking for updates for my Edge 500?
