Maps won't finish downloading in Garmin Express (why was this closed with no resolution?)

I just bought a new map, can't download it it gets stuck at 2.5%

I have already lost 3hrs trying to do follow trouble shooting recommendations.

installed -reinstalled, ran as admin etc.

even reset my device (276cx)

tried from a mac, a PC etc.

the exact similar issues on the web are over 3 years old.. why isn't it fixed yet?

If its the thread I think you mean, the last activity was 3 years ago. After a period of inactivity it is reasonable that a thread be locked. Since you are discussing a 276cx, have you tried the steps to resolution at Maps won't finish downloading?
