Garmin express update failure

Hi, my Garmin express software warned me to update, so I wanted to do it. Unfortunately, the followin error message appeared: The feature you are tryin to use is on a network resource tat is unavailable. Click OK or try ain, or enter an alternate pat to a folder containing the installation package 'Expressinstaller.msi' in te box below. User source: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{BB1DCEBC-FD41-4EA7-8F74-168B91D032F1}v7.14.0.0\...

Look, I really tried to do my best and followed many troubleshooting methods which were available regarding this topic in the internet, including reg key removals, but honestly none of them work. Currently I have a Garmin Nüvi device, and I cannot update it. How can be it happened so many people have to struggle with the same problem without a simple and easy solution, which would be that: download an installation file, install, run, and use it. Why it is such complicated, and even it would be just complicated, but unudable anymore? Or it is possible to fix this problem?  Not following hundred steps troubleshooting methods, but simply install that damn software? Sorry, after so many attempt, I really confused, as many other people before. Why this issue can be find several times in this site, and locked without solution descriptions? I really do not understand it.

  • Except many thousands use Express without issue. Generally those that have issues have system issues somewhere, I suggest you give Garmin Product Support a call for help.

  • Error messages don't always reflect the actual nature of the problem, but it's a place to start: How about that "network resource?" Exactly how are you attempting to establish a download, and by that I mean How are you connecting to the internet? The folder (or any folder like it) that you mentioned will never prove of any utility to you; leave it alone. Are you accessing the internet through a home Wi-Fi router/modem setup? How is the network that you are using administered, and who manages it? The message that you are reading suggests that you are either trying to use a bad address, or that you do not have sufficient privileges/permissions. To get the best help possible, it's best that you try to detail step-by-step what you did—exactly—not leaving out details that you might assume any help knows...because you actually haven't explained what you've done. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.

Please tell me you're not trying to do this on a work computer....
