Garmin Express displays "There was an error installing the update" when trying to download any updates

Windows 10, Garmin Express v7.17.2.0, zumo 660 v5.10

I found the following discussion and tried removing the GPS from Garmin Express, rebooting Windows, and adding it again. I still get the same error.

How can I resolve this please?

NB: I was able to perform some minor updates using Basecamp v4.7.5, but of course it can't be used to download updated maps.

BaseCamp can't update your device so not sure what you've done? As for Express you need this FAQ support.garmin.com/.../
