Impossible to search fenix 6 pro updates with garmin Express (PC) due to server connection error

Since many weeks, it's impossible to search updates to my F6 sapphire with Garmin Express.

Garmin express (7.16.3.0) say : "sorry we are having a problem communicating with our servers"

Synchronise seems work fine but update softwares, maps or apps doesn't work...

This only happens with my Fenix 6 pro (firmware 25.78b). I don't have the problem when my wife's Venu 2s syncs and search updates.

I don't know where is the problem... and how resolve it... could you help me?

  • I have the same issue...  with fenix 6 pro 25.79 beta

  • It's really strange because Garmin express (7.16.3.0) say always : "sorry we are having a problem communicating with our servers" when I click on the refresh updates icon, but for exemple, when 25.81 OTA has been available, the update has been automatically transferred to my fenix 6 despite the error message....

    Unfortunately I want to say, because following the major bug of 25.81 (stucked at Loading Maps), I had to do a master reset and reprogram all my settings.

    Garmin express bug is still present with 25.81...

  • I had problem with "server not reachable" for too long. Problem was persistent when adding watch, for too long. Yesterday I read someone answer on the forum and solution works. I had problem on three computers (one win7 and two win11).

    Change, temporarily, your current region and regional format settings to USA. Try this maybe it helps you.
