New to me Fenix 2 doesn't sync via USB with Garmin Connect using Garmin Express

Express V7.16.3.0, Fenix2 V4.5.

I tried deleting all old activity files on watch, Remotesw folder, Factory reset of watch, but still no sync. Some other threads/videos say there is a sync log file from Garmin Express that points to what is the issue, but I haven't found it. I also don't see a CoreService folder to delete files.

What can I do to sync?

The path to CoreService on my WIn10 Pro machine is C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService

Thanks. I realized I couldn't see hidden folders, so I now found ProgramData and CoreService. I deleted the device folder, but it didn't do anything different when syncing. Do you have experience with syncing issues and deleting other files/folders. Please let me know.

No experience with Fenix 2 and file structure. GArmin Express is dependent on Microsoft .NET Framework so you might run the .NET Repair tool at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135. If that doesn't help, and unless someone else offers help, I'd do a full uninstall of GE and then reinstall. Seek out some Garmin instructions that show you portions of the registry that need to be removed.
