Garmin randomly stops opening until uninstalled and reinstalled. Often hangs at splash screen never making any progress using almost no resources.
Happened on 7.16.1, upgrading to 7.16.2 resolved it. However recently due to the overly fun multi-round updates it happened again. (5th or 6th time now in the last few months).
My FR945 got plugged in for the v12 update. Updated the firmware and sensor hub (wont detect GPS update until those are installed). Unplugged the device, performed the update. Plugged the device in and the application completely hung checking for updates (more than 30 minutes later only option is a task manager end task). No longer opens and just get the splash screen. Very frustrating and time consuming. Watch can update on its own but never does (can download over wifi or via Garmin Connect Mobile for Android but hasn't in years, then again the battery lasts about 4 days compared to the much higher advertised, so it it is plugged in a lot.)
