Hi I checked my camper 780 as I will be using it in a short while and it came up with a map update, so I opened Garmin Express (windows pc) and went throught the directions to update the maps. It gave an estimate of about 5 hours to update so I let it do it's thing, I checked it some 5 hours later but it was still downloading as I did not want my pc to be left switched on during the night I switched it off. the next day I started all over again early and it went for so long the it came up with an error message. I checked the Garmin website and did as it said on each of the reasons it could have given an error message, tried again same thing happened an error message. I checked the device and Garmin express had removed all detailed maps so I could not use it. So I opened the apps side bar on my pc and in the Garmin app it gave a map installer, so I tried that, it went through the building index files stage, then the building traffic files stage, then the building maps settings, it then went onto the initiallising stage, then it came up with the data was not succesfully sent .
I need help please anybody got any ideas
