They point the finger at everything except themselves...
“Mine works fine” equals responding “Give us a call and we’ll see what we can do” to “My only phone does not work”: if it works for some and it does not for others, the culprit is clearly an unresolved issue with services’ propagation across the Garmin’s infrastructure, although at the moment (9:16 UST) everything is reported operational https://connect.garmin.com/status/ 7.16.1.0 still does not work in this neck of the woods.Having said that, officially providing a 7.15.2.0 (instead of having users Googling “previous versions” from shady and dubious web scrapers) until the issue is solved would be a better option.
The FAQ is aimed at the OP. If you have an issue please start a new thread. If it works for some and not for others it could be an issue at the user end, which the FAQ may resolve, having had Garmins for over 10 years issues are rarely at the Garmin end, so better to check where the problem is more likely to be.
Note too I am not a Garmin employee so I'm definitely not suggesting you give me a call.
I do not see a reason to start a new thread as I am merely pointing out some major inconsistencies I noticed and trying to provide guidance or an explanation whereas possible (system engineer, started my career developing for embedded systems, dealing with Garmin since the days of the Pronav GPS 100, so… yes, I may know a thing or two). Having said that, I explained in a different thread the issue at hand, inclusive of resolutive steps: it worth mentioning that, in this specific case, the celebrated FAQ does not provide any insight (same applies by stating “mine works fine” without further indications).
Note: before replying to a post, please read it and try to understand it. In this specific case, you may actually spot a metaphor, as nobody here is planning to call you,
Not trying to spoil anything here, but I got Venu 2 Plus watch yesterday morning and GE (the latest release) did recognise, register and update the watch yesterday afternoon.
Other devices we own (vivomove HR, vivosmart 4) did sync correctly either.
