Garmin Express 7.16.1.0 now available

GE 7.16.1.0 is now available for Windows. I assume a similar update is available for Mac.

7.16.1.0 also doesn't work, downgraded back to 7.15.0.0 which is working perfectly

Yeah, 7.16.0.0 was pulled back quite quickly, my previous GE was not updated earlier in the week and was reporting it's up to date.

Very sloppy (and contiuously so) if you ask me.

7.16.1.0 also doesn't work, downgraded back to 7.15.0.0 which is working perfectly

How do I downgrade please? I uninstalled 7.16.1.0 as it crashed mid install so got rid completely and re-downloaded

You need to find depository that hosts previous versions - there are some available, just look them up. I am not sure if providing a link to them on these forums is allowed (?).

Also, wanted to add that 7.16.1.0 works for me without issues actually, got updated to it just before the weekend and sync'd my devices on Sat afternoon as I regularly do - and even got Euro TopoActive maps updated to their latest release (2022.10, I think?) on my Oregon 750t yesterday evening.

Garmin Express v7.16.1.0 does not work for me on Win 11. I updated from a working v7.15.0. After tons of troubleshooting including creating firewall exceptions (did not help) I downgraded to v7.15.0 and everything works fine. I got the v7.15.0 at uptodown.com (https://garmin-express.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/85459430 ) that seems to be safe.

I experienced crashes too with 7.16.1.0 regardless whether it was an in-app update or a clean install. I downgraded to v7.15.0 and everything works fine. I got the v7.15.0 at uptodown.com (https://garmin-express.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/85459430 ) that seems to be safe.
