Garmin Approach S62 back sensors stopped working immediately after the warranty period expired

I purchased Garmin Approach S62 in October 2021 and exactly after 1 year the back (Green light) sensors on the watch has stopped working. I took the watch to the Garmin Authorised dealer however they refused to fix the watch saying that Garmin dont fix the Hardware and you have to buy the watch again. This is ridicluous, i mean why cant garmin fix the hardware if they are providing customer service?
