Have done updates in past. recently software updates fail to start automatically. I uninstalled Garmin express and re downloaded it. The 770 connects via USB and garmin express can find it and reports its serial number. After entering my email address registration fails to proceed to the nickname stage. I have 38Mb headroom on the relevant C: drive partition. A solution would be appreciated. Richard
