Garmin express finds the device (Fenix 7X pro), but clicking on the add device button does nothing. I'm using Windows 11 Pro. However, no issue with Garmin Z82 Golf range finder

I’m not familiar with the two devices. I assume you can use the same cable with the Fenix 7 as with the golf range finder which would support you have the correct type of cable and it is functioning. After that I would suggest you change the connection mode of the Fenix. A video that covers the procedure is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpzK8ahfwBE.
Thanks. No they are two different cables. I followed that in the video, but still no success.
