Garmin Express Update Fail

I just opened up my Garmin Express and it let me know there was a software update needed, which is normal I get these messages every couple of months or so. After this update to Version 2.70, however, not my Edge 800 will not sync. There is a red bar at the top of Garmin Express that says, "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect".  How do I revert back to the previous version or fix this one?
