Latest BMW Nav V map updates not possible without a micro USB card.

I have been trying to update the maps on my Nav V and Garmin Express does not see the micro USB card in the Nav V.  I also receive the following error. (gpx/garminexpressimport.gpx). Anyone else figure out how to resolve this?

    I've moved this from BaseCamp to the Express forum.

    Is your PC seeing the card? If so confirm the card is formatted as FAT32. Run Express and only insert the card when prompted to do so.
