Garmin Express 7.11.x endlessly asking for sign in.

I didn't have this problem before, first noticed it in 7.11.0 and still in 7.11.1 (though may be a service issue not the app).

I am repeatedly and endlessly asked to sign in. Every time I open the app and click on my device I am asked to sign in (it used to remember who I was). If this was it I would just deal with it, however.... After I sign in and it shows everything is successful I am prompted for username and password again.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times I provide the correct username and password (actually though I might be making a typo at one point).  The only way to get out of this endless loop is to hit the X on the sign-in window.  Then as long as I signed in once successfully clicking on my device again will allow me access to its settings and updates. Hitting the X before signing in and trying to access your device will prompt for sign in as it needs that initial login to work (again not sure why it isn't saving).

Closing and re-opening the app just starts the signing process all over again (though exiting the app doesn't close it, even when choosing to quit instead of leaving it running in the background a process lingers and prevents you from re-opening it until the computer is rebooted or the process is closed, typically in task manager but there are other methods that work too).


I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I am running Windows 11.
