Update ruined my Garmin Nuvi 55lm. I can't get secondary roads, it won't recognize my home address, Ihave rebooted, reset it, , done everything I can think of and it's the same. Help?

Looks like something happend to the maps installed in your device. Try reinstalling the maps.

I put in the eastern part of the us. No help. Still doesn't work right. The Garmin was OK until I upgraded it on my outer. Then it went to h--l. 

I tried this several times to no avail. It doesn't recognize my home. I look for gas station for example and it show them 190 miles away even after I reinstalled maps. I reinstalled G Express-no change.   I think  I'm shumcked.  I tried reinstalling my home and it can't find my town or the larger town nearby.

You haven't answered my questions. When you do I may understand what is going on

I've come to the realization that I need to buy a micro sd card, that I don't have enough memory to update it.  I had ticked off the ct n american nt map
