Beyond frustrating - there are posts from 6 years ago that state that this has been a long standing issue. My C: drive doesn't have 11gb of extra space for temp files that are used to update my watch's maps. The ability to use other drives for temp files and updates would be extremely helpful.
Please implement this feature in Garmin Express. It impedes the user experience.
That or patch updates to watches via the Garmin Connect app or directly to the watch when the watch connects to wifi.
The experience is currently broken and antiquated.
