We've gone through a few Garmins, mostly failing after many years of good service on a hot windscreen (Australia), my Dezlcam 775 is still working fine showing 260,000 kms of operation, it updates fine, but the DriveAssist 51 gets stuck updating maps, and becomes useless.
We sent it in, was replaced with a refurbished one by Garmin, and 12 months later the replacement one has the same map update error, doesnt matter if we use the Garmin Express app on the pc or the wireless update inbuilt function.
These units are stiil for sale here at almost au$450, so they are still a current model.
APART from sending this defective one into Garmin, is there any new fixes for this error?
