Garmin Edge 800 not synching new activities to Garmin Connect

Hello,

I've started back cycling and triathlon training. My last race was few years ago. I used my garmi Edge 800 last week to record 2 indoor biking activities. I plugged the Esge in my coputer today, installed Garmin Express and everything synched properly (according to the green bar message I got. However, on Garmin Connect, I don,t see those 2 activities, They are not uploaded. I can, however, see the activities in my history on Edge 800. I tryed to upload the .fit file on GC, but can't fin the file on the "garmin drive". The last .fit file in the "Activities" folder are from 2019... I don,t understand..

What ca I do.

    • did you check and sync the time on your edge before starting the indoor activity ?

    when not, your two workouts are recorded with the old date and time

    • you can fix this yourself by running the two files through Fit File Tools's Time Adjuster

    when yes, use a file recovery tool like recuva to find your lost files

    • afterwards post the found files here, because most likely they need to be repaired

    how many files are there in the activities folder on your edge

    • when many, time for a backup/cleanup procedure on the activities folder (first backup)

    Hi,

    First of all, thank you very much for your answer and you help. I really appreciate it.

    Indeed, the activities are not showing the correct time and date. In fact, the time on my Edge 800 is wrong (as it didn't get GPS for a long time I guess) and I don't know for the date (can't find where to see the date on my Edge 800), but I presume it is also incorrect.

    No, I didn't check and sync the time on my Edge before starting my indoor activity... : /

    The last two activities in the "Activity" folder are indeed the ones I did last week. Should have checked this beforehand!

    Anyway, everything is back in order now, thank you very much!
