Garmin Express 7.9.1.0 crashes upon opening, Windows 10 21H1

Runs fine on my Win10. I'd try uninstalling then install again from the Garmin Express website.

Good to know it runs fine. I guess the third time will not change it on my side, so another pesky, hopeless bug.

So what can I do in my case? Ask the support team? To be honest I only need GE to update Garmin maps, so is there any other way of doing that?

I have similar issue with this version on a Mac running MacOS 12 - it runs and detects the Garmin Zūmo XT okay but when click button to "Install All" updates it crashes EVERY time.

However, if I go into Map Details/View Details and apply the updates from there, the maps/POIs etc download and update successfully.

Not really an answer but a workaround until Garmin get around to fixing the bug!?

I can't launch the UI. It crashes immediately after launching, and I can't do anything about it.

Try a full uninstall then reinstall from Garmin Express website

I tried full uninstall and also "fuller" reinstall (with registry check), downgrade with older version of installer and every other "solution" from support page and forums. It's not working, at all. Since some time, maybe whatever W10 update I'm not able to launch the app. It's a critical bug on the most popular OS. I demand a reaction of support team.

Working fine for me and always has, and my Win10 is up to date on both my laptop and desktop so something is amiss in your system. I suggest you call Garmin for detailed help with your system

Forerunner was working fine with apps because I haven't updated the software for a while, I know from the past that every other update from them causes chaos. I unfortunatley clicked on update yetserday, and now nothing is being recognized. Tried everything you have Zar and then some nothing works, have to wait till the TOP garmin people decide to get around to the major software issuses they've had for years and FIX them. Bang goes my upgrade to a Fenix 6 Titanium with these constant software issues.
