I have already reported this issue amongst others in the VENU 2 section, but this is probably the more suitable sub-forum:
Certain apps or widgets show up twice in in the App List in Garmin Express (Windows) - see screenshot below!
Currently the following apps have duplicates:
- Garmin Hydration Widget
- Garmin Connect Challengers
The apps are only duplicating on Garmin Express, not on the watch itself (VENU 2, currently on latest firmware vv5.28, was the same v.4.67 as well as v.5.18 Public Beta)
I tried to remove one instance of each app, but it did not work.
I have also tried to uninstall affected apps completly and then reinstall it, also without success....
Is this supposed to be "normal" behavior?
I read a comment by a developer, that this is the way it is on devices with CIQ 4.x, where widgets are no longer a valid app type and were replaced by super apps.
However, Garmin was not able to confirm this so far....
