Version 7.9.1.0 now available

I updated to 7.9.1.0 from 7.9.0.0. I did not receive a pop message for the update. Had to check for updates under settings..

Sad. No release notes and these are the guys that want people to buy their flight instruments and software.

Install Failed

"Garmin Express could not be installed on this computer. Try installing again.", guess it doesn't like Windows 11.

I installed it on Windows 11 PRO without issue. However, Windows 11 does not see any of my Garmin Devices now. It always says that nothing is connected. However, they are. Windows does not see them as an add on device like a Mass Storage Device, or SD Card. Therefore, I am unable to update them.

The Garmin Express shows no new updates, right now, so I am good. But in the future will Windows 11 see them and let Garmin Express update them???

That is the real question...

I received a popup that the update was available when I launched Garmin Express. My fenix was syncing, so it waited till after that was complete, then installed successfully. I am interested in seeing the release notes too. However, I have not found them yet.
