Update Garmin etrex 32x

Hello, I have a Garmin etrex 32x from 2020 and I want to update it with Garmin express. The problem is that garmin express doesn't recognise the micro sd card so it can't continue the update. I've tried with a 16Gb and with a 32 gb micro sd card and both were damaged by the garmin.

What has the card got to do with updating your Etrex? The card in any case can't be damaged by an update. Perhaps explain more fully exactly what you're trying to do and where is it failing?

I want to update my Garmin etrex installing the new actualitzations. So in order to update my Garmin, an micro sd card is required to be introduced into the etrex; the requirement is made by Garmin express (the app to update garmin devices) . So I introduce my sd card to the etrex, but garmin explorer doesn't recognize any sd card in the Garmin device so the update can't be done. Then when I disconnect the device and I take off the sd card these one it doesen't work any more (no device recognizes it any more)

I suggest you call product support because I'm unclear how this could be damaging sd cards. You may have a faulty device.
