Garmin Swim 1 "We're Unable to add this device because our servers are unavailable at this time." Error

I just got a Garmin Swim 1 and I want to transfer my swim stats. I am using a CooSpo USB ANT Stick.

Whenever I attempt to connect my Swim to the Express app I get the error Garmin Swim (insert Serial number) "We're Unable to add this device because our servers are unavailable at this time."

How do I fix this error and see my data?

Verify you haven't changed your Garmin account password or have it entered incorrectly. Remove the device then add it again.

I see nothing on the "Garmin Express" about logging in. I open Garmin Express, it says "add new device" then it says "searching" (or have marine devices or chart? sign in) and then it brings up the error.

I have created a "marine device or chart" account, but that does not seem to be the correct one as it tries to have me register a boat.

There would be if you got that far. Marine device or chart is not the thing you want. If Garmin Express sees your Garmin Swim it will let you know, then you'd be prompted to login with your Garmin account.

I am not familiar with the Coospo USB Ant tick, but if it's like the original Garmin there are some troubleshooting steps you can follow here: I Cannot Pair My ANT+ Fitness Device to Garmin Express | Garmin Swim

Hmm. Garmin Express sees the Swim, but won't let me go past that point because of the We're Unable to add this device because our servers are unavailable at this time." error

If you've tried all the support steps above, then you can try an older version of Garmin Express (you can private message me) or contact Garmin Support directly. Although, their response might be that they cannot confirm it will work with a non-Garmin USB Ant stick.
