Purchase a band new Kenwood DXR1007XR with three years of map updates in May 2021. Tried to update the unit, but the map update appears to cost $69.99. It should be free since only one month has past since purchase. Not sure who to contact; Kenwood or Garmin. To me, Garmin is the culprit, so I'm here. So has anyone had a problem with Garmin not updating their maps as required?
